Man! We hit our goal on this thing in 3 days, I couldn't believe it! And now, we have our first Stretch Goal folks! Every backer gets this upgrade. Now let's get this thing up to 6K!!! So the idea is to have the art team create extra pages highlighting our main character's origin stories. But ya'll know we like to do it BIG, so we want to create new art that's similar to what Alex Ross did awhile back for some of the Dynamite and DC characters. Morning all, heads up! Changa and the Jade Obelisk Kickstarter is LIVE!!! Pledge here: https://bit.ly/2tJFzje MVmedia, LLC and 133art have joined forces to publish Changa and the Jade Obelisk, a graphic novel based on the amazing Sword and Soul book series by Milton Davis. We chose to do this project because of the need for more illustrated stories based on African/African Diaspora culture and traditions, and also because it's fun! For years readers have enjoyed the tales of Changa and his crew, so now we're bringing it to you fully illustrated. Changa and the Jade Obelisk is adapted from the novel Changa's Safari by Milton Davis. 'In the 15th century on the East Coast of Africa begin the amazing exploits of merchant/adventurer Changa Diop.
